at EtsyWhen I was almost 17 years old, my parents
sent me to the coast of Maine to an Outward
Bound Survival School. One of the many sites
I saw during this adventure was the Matinicus
Lighthouse. When decorating my home, I drew a lighthouse
on the inside front door. My grandson, then one,
would run to the door and shout at the lighthouse. I think he thought someone would answer!
The lighthouse above right is in Cape
Canaveral, Florida. Find gifts and apparel

far one of the most magnicent birds you will ever
see. I drew this for my father, who loves Bald Eagles.
He has a coffee mug with this pic on it.Find gifts and apparel with

What a unique creature...and wonderful
to have around if you have too many
mosquitoes, flies or bees!In some cultures the dragonfly is said
to represent courage, strength and
happiness. They represent pure water
in the Navajo symbolism. In the United States, ODING, somewhat
like birdwatching, is sougth out as a
hobby. In Texas 220+ of the 450+
known species have been spotted. You would be amazed at the variety
of colors these beauties "wear". To

a wish to come true
they must capture a butterfly
and whisper the wish to it.Since they make no sound,
they can't tell the wish
to anyone but
the Great Spirit. So by making the wish
and releasing the butterfly
it will be taken to the heavens
and be granted.Author UnknownClick here to learn more about ButterfliesPlease join me at
