Don’t get me wrong. We are far from backward. We don’t live in the dark ages. We have indoor plumbing, television, automobiles and we even have those new-fangled things called cell phones & computers. We just like to take life at an easy pace. For many of us the word “rush” isn’t part of the vocabulary if we can possibly help it. We have some of the best schools in the nation, and I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of the space program...unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 50 years or so. Moving forward isn’t distasteful to us...we are simply cautious about it...not wanting to upset the delicate balance of nature and nurture that our founding fathers worked so hard to establish. Please come and visit. You will be welcomed with a smile. The only thing we ask is that when you depart...you leave only footprints in the sand...and leave our beaches nice for the people that live here and for the people that come here to visit after you.
